Two player-filled calculators: trash-can odds for an Employee Keycard, and the shirt and pants count for ropes. Defaults are the published recipe and the published 10 percent estimate. Change them if your server differs.

This calculator is arithmetic on a table, not a live mixer. Enter quantities from your own Valley Prison [V3] session. It will not click the shop.

Drop probability

Employee Keycard search chance

Estimate how many trash cans you may need to search before an Employee Keycard shows up, using the documented 10 percent figure or your own percent.

Enter values from your session.

Chance of at least one success = 1 − (1 − chance per attempt) raised to the number of attempts.

Guides document about a 10 percent chance to pull an Employee Keycard from a facility trash can. That figure is a published estimate, not an official drop table. Change the percent if your server feels different. The result is the chance of at least one success across independent searches.

Material planner

Rope shirts needed

Count the shirts still needed to craft ropes. One documented rope uses 2 shirts and 3 pants.

Enter values from your session.

Required total = materials per upgrade × number of upgrades. Missing = max(required total − materials already owned, 0).

One rope is documented as 2 shirts and 3 pants from the laundry racks. This form counts shirts only. Use the pants calculator for the other half of the recipe.

Material planner

Rope pants needed

Count the pants still needed to craft ropes. Laundry shelves can be empty; wait for the clothing piles to respawn rather than assuming a second rack is stocked.

Enter values from your session.

Required total = materials per upgrade × number of upgrades. Missing = max(required total − materials already owned, 0).

One rope is documented as 2 shirts and 3 pants. This form counts pants only.

FAQ

Valley Prison [V3] calculator questions

Does Valley Prison [V3] have working codes?

No developer-issued Valley Prison code has been published for this place, and the October 10, 2026 V3 notes do not mention a redeem box. A June 30, 2026 check of the live game also found no code field. Treat code lists for this game as unverified, and do not enter your Roblox password on a site that promises a code.

What happens after you escape?

Cross the outer perimeter as an inmate. The server then switches you to Escapee. You keep three lives. Resetting after the Escapee tag appears does not spend a life, but dying in combat or being arrested does. Losing all three lives sends you to Maximum Security.

How do you drop a keycard or tool?

Hold the item and press Z or Backspace, or type /drop or /d in chat. Inmates and Escapees can pass contraband this way. Corrections and other law-enforcement loadouts generally cannot drop issued weapons.

Do job points unlock guns?

Account level unlocks teams and gear. Job points are a separate ladder for each staff department and only change your rank title and insignia. Points earned as a Correctional Officer do not transfer to CERT, State Police, or Facility Employee.

What level do you need for State Police?

The V3 badge catalog stops at Level 100 with You really did it. Older role pages still list State Police at 135 and State Police SWAT at 175. Those higher gates were not restated in the October 10, 2026 patch notes, so check the team menu on your account before you grind toward them.
